What’s Ecotherapy?
Ecotherapists are practitioners of nature-centered support, transformation, and facilitation. From Forest Bathing to Equine Therapy, Horticulture to Herbalism, ecotherapy relies on the human-nature connection to support wellbeing in our bodies, minds, hearts, and communities.
Ecotherapists aren’t the therapist in this equation – the client’s relationship with nature (YOUR relationship with nature) is the source of direct therapy – ecotherapists merely connect you with tools for navigating that journey back to Source, however you see it.
Ecotherapy is a fantastic supplement to traditional psychotherapy – but – it is not a replacement, nor covered by health insurance. I do accept clients on a sliding scale.
What does Integration mean?
Integration refers to the process of “sense-making”. It’s what we humans do whenever we encounter transformative moments. It’s the “now what?” conversations that come after a life-altering event. Once we’re grounded in a healthy nature relationship, we can tackle the bigger questions together, with you choosing every step you take.
Some client work reflects these questions:
How am I still “me” after this event? How can my community see the new “me”? How can my family? How do my life choices feel out of sync with who am I now that this happened? How can I change my life to reflect who I am now, without losing touch with or shaming who I was, and where I come from? How can I bring all parts of my self into my identity, allowing grace for all of the neurospicy notes that make life interesting, but sometimes difficult? How can I disconnect who I am, from who the world expects me to be? How can I be myself in a world filled with (… gestures wildly around…)?
What’s the goal of a Mountain Mage Event?
Modern humans are curious creatures. We love technology, and yet long for ancestral rhythms.
With that in mind – our Retreats, Rituals, and even our Educational Workshops are built with the intention to reconnect you and your guests with the Natural World.

But remember:
This is not the place for a hero’s journey or a Vision Quest – rather – this is the place for restoring the Villages that were once the heartbeat of humanity. Don’t invite us to host an event, unless you mean it, because things will not be the same afterward.
